At Oakwood Beach, this sculpture was made over 9 days/nights by 4 Chicagoans around the 1980s. Technically unauthorized, they worked in secret and the location/artwork remained a secret. It was only within the last 20 years that it was officially discovered and now it stands as a public fixture at the beach.
